Our first month in San Antonio Tlayacapan has been full of new routines, lakeside sunsets, and vibrant local life. From strolling the malecón and discovering live music to joining birthday parties and festivals, every day offers connection, culture, and the warmth of a welcoming community.

Before leaving for San Antonio, Mexico, Joe and I were surrounded by love, laughter, and heartfelt farewells—from farewell parties in Asheville to riverside adventures in Travelers Rest. Leaving friends behind is bittersweet, but we’re excited for new adventures, friendships, and experiences in this next chapter of our lives.
