In November 2024, we housesat in the Garden District just in time for Halloween and Day of the Dead. Frenchmen Street was alive with costumed revelers and street performers, while candlelit parades honored ancestors with music and reverence. From funk at Tipitina’s and ragtime at The Spotted Cat to chargrilled oysters and gumbo, New Orleans’ food, music, and culture never fail to amaze. We also explored museums, sculpture gardens, and historic estates, and joined second line parades that left us exhilarated—truly a city that celebrates life in every form.
Our honeymoon in Puerto Rico was a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. We explored Luquillo’s quiet beaches and El Yunque’s misty rainforest, kayaked under the stars, and drove along the west coast to Rincón’s surf towns and dramatic cliffs. From waterfalls and jungle hikes to stunning sunsets and delicious local food, Puerto Rico offered endless beauty and unforgettable experiences.
